Internship

Before starting their internship, AI students must submit their internship details and obtain approval from the department head. If you do not get a confirmation, your internship will not be officially approved. It is required that the manager have an engineering degree. For exceptions, you need to get approval from the department head.

AI Students, internship reports should be prepared according to the following rules:

1. If you complete AI300 and AI400 in the same place, TWO separate REPORTS should be prepared for AI300 and AI400. Exceptions are not accepted.

2. If you complete AI300 and AI400 in the same place, the first sections may be similar, but the other sections must be different from each other. While the first 20 days are a little more theoretical and focused on the learning process (may include small code examples in the learning process), the second 20 days can be more practical.

3. If you complete AI300 and AI400 in the same place, you will provide just ONE internship evaluation form; you do not need to send two separate evaluation forms. Note that if you complete these internships in a different semester, then you need to send separate evaluations for each internship. 

4. Each REPORT should be at least 15-20 pages.

5. Each section should be at least half a page.

6. Be sure to include small code snippets and screenshots of your program in the report.

7. Do not provide huge code blocks. (Important small code snippets are enough)

8. Do not put code snippets and screenshots in appendices. Put them just below the place where it is explained in detail in the text.

9. Do not put just the codes; explain each code snippet in the text in detail.

10. Note the reference format, edit it appropriately.

11. AI should be used only to improve your report's English. However, the content of the report should be your own intellectual work based on your internship experience.
